To use this addon,first you need to create facebook appA)How to create facebook App?- top
(If you already created facebook app for login with facebook for your own sngine website,skip this step and use same app id for facebook invite because we only need this facebook app id)
otherwise, create separate app for faebook invite,using these steps.
Now,Fill the form and click Create App ID
Select facebook login option and click on setup
Add platform(www web)
Enter your website url address,save and click on continue
Enter settings tab,click on Basic
Enter all details i.e.(namespace,privacy policy url,term of service url,category and save changes.
We need only "APP ID" for this add-on,so in this case, "NO NEED" to add "Deauthorize Callback URL" and "Valid OAuth redirect URIs"in advanced settings.These urls are necessary for "signup with facebook" option,but,not in our case.
App still in developement mode.we need to make it public
switch the toggle button to make the App Public and Confirm
Now your facebook app is ready to use.Now copy your App ID,you need this App ID in addon configuration
A)How to upload and use this addon? - top
1)After unzip,open "script" folder.then open fbinvite.txt(using notepad or notepad++ text editor)
Imp.Note.:(If you are using https:// then don't forget to change all http:// protocol with https:// including facebook URLS)
2) Paste your facebook App ID: notepad++ user code lines:58
3)and don't forget to change yourwebsite.com with your own website name. notepad++ user code lines:62,74,79,81,83,85,87
4)Don't forget to save changes
5)Now,you also need to include "invite Social friends"option in dropdown menu.(as shown in screenshot)
6)It's very easy. You need to upload a file i.e "_header.tpl" which is located inside "templates" folder.
Folder's path>script\themes\default\templates\
3)Now,start your FTP client (I personally use Filezila which is free). Login to your server.You will need your server name (often times this will be your domain name),username,and password that you setup with the hosting company.
7)Now Upload & replace "_header.tpl" from your server.
Folder's path on server: >content\themes\default\templates\
8)Now Upload & replace "admin.static.tpl" from your server.
Folder's path on server: >content\themes\default\templates\
9)Now,you need to upload static.php
Folder's path>script\static.php
file's path on server: >\static.php
5)Now,open your website,login as admin,go to admin panel,Click on static pages>>>Add new
Fill all details
Done.
6)Delete all files located in the "content\themes\own custom theme\templates_compiled" and "\content\themes\own custom theme\cache"
Done.
**Alternate method to upload files: If your web hosting provider support cpanel,you can easily upload files using "file manager".
*First login to cpanel. For eg:open your website's cpanel url, yourdomain.com/cpanel, enter username and password and login
*Click on "file manager"
After unzip,open "script" folder.You need to upload a file i.e "_header.tpl" which located inside "templates" folder. Folder's path>script\themes\default\templates\
*Upload & replace "_header.tpl" from your server.(Folder's path on server: >content\themes\default\templates\)
Now Upload & replace "admin.static.tpl" from your server.Folder's path on server: >content\themes\default\templates\
*Upload & replace "static.php" from your server.(File's path on server: >\static.php)
*Delete all files located in the "content\themes\own custom theme\templates_compiled" and "\content\themes\own custom theme\cache"

Very Imp.Note>>If you want to show your website banner with website link(watch screenshot)
open \content\themes\default\images\og-image.jpg then change (default image show sngine banner)and upload og-image.jpg with your own website banner. After that open this link https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/object/ and refresh facebook meta tags for your website
Now,login to your website and try to invite your facebook friends.
****Additional help related to firefox browser*****
In Firefox,by default,Enhanced Tracking Protection not allow facebook popup,you need to disable it
